Guess where I was on Friday??? (G already told you but I'll say it again lol) I was at Penn State for the kickoff to Jay Z' s Blueprint 3 tour. My seats were amaaazing as I was able to see all the performers up close and personal while they entered/exited the stage. I even had a vantage point to Beyonce, who was trying to hide behind the sound guy. I must say she is Jay's biggest fan: she knew ALL of his lyrics and even the lyrics for J. Cole's verse on A Star is Born ( he was the first act of the night), she danced hard from the beginning of Jay's set til he walked off stage, and midway through the night when Jay gave her a shout out "I see you over there ma", she was all smiles and giggles while trying to cover her face.
Fashion tidbits from the night:
***Guys---black jeans are about to be a major staple for the winter.
***Pharrell had on a pair of New Balance 504 sneakers. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet but he's usually pretty fashion forward so expect the skateboys and sneaker heads to follow his lead.
***Beyonce had on a pair of jean shorts with tights and HIGH heeled booties. She looked amaaaazing.
***Wale should probably step his style game up since he's repping my city. DC we can do way better than the plaid puffy vest he performed in.
***Bridget Kelly is gorgeous. After she left stage with Jay, she slipped on the highest, baddest, blackest boots I've seen all fall. Kudos to her for great style :)
***As for me, I'll post pics of what I wore later but let's just say I was a tad overdressed(and I loved every minute of it) but I was dressed enough to catch the eye of a certain "rapper" from another planet. you figure it out lol
